Maple Chocolate Chip Pancakes

So Old Man Winter is knocking on my door and I am welcoming him (begrudgingly) with some yummy chocolately pancakes! You can't go wrong with chocolate... :-) Of all the pictures I took for this recipe what I dont have is the 'end result'. These babies disappeared just as fast as they came off the stovetop!! POOF!!

What you need:

1 cup flour
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2/3 cup milk
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar in  amedium bowl. Sift together with a wire whisk.
  • In another bowl stir milk, egg, maple syrup and melted butter.
  • Add the wet ingrediants into the dry ingrediants and stir well.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • butter your pan and drop a large spoonful in, flip when it starts to bubble...once done serve immediately!
